This matte faux leather is light and flexible making it ideal for dressmaking and soft furnishings. Vegan leather is a material that mimics leather, but is created from artificial or plant products instead of animal skins.
Vegan leather has come on leaps and bounds over the past few decades and well-made vegan-leather products can often be mistaken for the real thing. It’s production is not without environmental concerns, however it could be argued that the environmental impact of producing vegan leather is lower than the caustic production methods of real leather.
