Description
Wool Melton is thick wool with a felt-like smooth surface. It is hard wearing and wind and weather resistant.
Scarlet hunting coats are traditionally made from melton cloth because of its weatherproof qualities. It was also used in black for the Donkey Jacket, an iconic symbol of the labouring man.
